At Balanced Solutions, the skill of Mindfulness is fused with approaches such as CBT and Reality Therapy to create a well-balanced synergy of stress management and action oriented solutions. Mindfulness is a meditative mind-body intervention, promoting a greater awareness of the dialogue between our body and mind. Much of our psychological distress is reflected in our bodies and leads to physiological discomfort such as muscle tension or stiffness, headaches, GI discomfort, and fatigue. By incorporating mindfulness into our daily lives, we can overcome the barriers that anxiety, depression, chronic pain, or other stress may place on our path to contentment and success. Mindfulness also serves to increase a non-judgmental awareness and insight into our thinking patterns and relationships. Its ability to train our mind to be focused and attentive can cultivate improved problem solving skills and personal acceptance.

Your body may be agitated and tense, and embracing with the energy of mindfulness can help it to relax and become peaceful again. When the body functions peacefully, it can begin to heal. This helps the mind to relax and also heal.”
